So, you want to undergo professional retraining to become a psychologist but you don’t know how to do it?

One thing is for sure, you need to validate two types of degrees:

  • The psychology degree (3 years: L1, L2, and L3)
  • The Master in Psychology where you choose your specialty (clinical, child, family…)

How to successfully complete your studies?

  • The psychology degree

The psychology degree can be done in person (in other words, in initial training), meaning you attend classes as if you were going back to school with “young people.” You can also pursue a psychology degree online! This can be convenient if you have a job on the side and cannot afford to quit.

Some universities offer a distance psychology degree: Rennes, Rouen, Paris, and even in Switzerland. However, in Switzerland, it is called a “bachelor’s in psychology” and therefore it requires tuition fees (about 1,500 euros per semester!!!)

  • The Master in Psychology

The same scheme as the bachelor’s, you can pursue it in initial training or distance learning. The University of Caen offers a master’s in psychology online. It also offers this continuing education!
